His family ain't gonna want him to ride the bench. He should sign with Tulane, its closer to home, he'd start from day one, and get a bronze statue outside stadium after resurrecting its program. Only problem with Green Wave is they won't come any closer to sniffing a playoff spot than Cincinnati did in '20. But, he'd put up Heisman numbers.

This is brought up in almost every thread regarding Arch Manning's recruitment. Literally zero substance to it. Not even a hint of a theory as to why Cooper/Archie have anything against Lane Kiffin.

The only thing I can think of is that Peyton might be miffed that Lane left Tenn to take the USC job. Even then that was a while ago and most likely water under the bridge

I won't pretend to know anything about this recruitment or the Manning family, but I feel like any family of a recruit 1-2 seasons away should have reservations about Lane staying in Oxford. He's already had feelers out to 2 other SEC jobs (allegedly) and we know that he will be on the short list of any Blue Blood with an opening the next 3-4 years.

To me, that makes Texas look good, maybe UGA, maybe a couple other schools.

2 years is an eternity is college football. Outside of bama, Ohio State, clemson, oklahoma, and Notre dame which schools can you tell me today will not fall apart in 2 years or have coaching changes?

I wouldn’t trade our spot in Arch’s recruitment with any other school. On paper other schools will always look more attractive than ole miss but if we still have Kiffin after next season and Arch commits I don’t see kiffin jumping for another job unless Ohio State, Bama, or someone like that comes calling. I don’t see us winning big enough next season for blue bloods to dump open checkbooks at Kiffin. I could be wrong though

How? In what world?

maybe UGA

Same UGA that Mullen has already snitched on and Proot will snitch on soon? They may very well be under NCAA microscope in the near future.

Which of these jobs in your opinion open up in the next two years?
