Even if we are "locked out", we've gotten more Louisiana kids recently than we ever have. We usually never had many even on our really good teams so it's not like it's going to kill us or anything

Good deal Ed.
We'll see you later

Having two kids on your roster from there will be pretty valuable in future years IMO. Big fish next year and the next coming out. LSU Bama battle anyways.

Who brags about bad blood at a feeder school? How stupid is that?

NO...I think he's referring to hog posters denigrating the La education system...can you not follow the thread ?

My god it's been explained to you time and again in this thread why we couldn't take Mcbride and Mosley. We know you think we're "locked out" of that school now. I highly doubt if we offer some 3 star in 2 years that only has 1 or 2 other FBS offers that we'd still be "locked out" but you do and that's fine. We don't really care. The only reason we're recruiting LA is because of Michael Smith and he'll probably be gone in a year or 2. It's one school in a country of thousands and in a state we don't recruit much. Forgive me for not disowning our coaching staff for pulling 2 grade risk scholarships just because it made some parents and a football coach upset. Now please do what you said you were gonna do and be done with us.

Couldn't win an argument so you just start trolling the recruiting board. Nice.

It wasn't and has never been about winning any arguments. If you look back at the thread you will see that. Ed was a little too close to things to be objective. I'm not trolling just having a little fun.

Serious question for you hog fans. I can understand you having a no risk policy.
When did this approach happen?
Grades have been posted at DT for a month now, seriously. Isnt it fair to assume your staff knew the grade status immediately?
Why sit on this for a month? Why not cut ties with enough time for the guys to explore other options?
Are you fully convinced the timing of the four commits this weekend were unrelated? I know they may have been "ranked lower" but doesnt their commitments seem to be the trigger for this entire deal?
Fair enough, you can't take risk. Do any other remaining players in your class have any risk? And again, why sit on the information?

We dropped Ravian Pierce, a TE from Florida like a week before those two because of grade issues...it's not like we're trying to single them out
Posted on 1/30/14 at 9:37 pm to gohogs141
It's the manner. Why wait a month grades have been posted for a while.
