Announcing tonight. Looking like State - this would be a huge pull for us.
Edit: Good pull JoMo

4* from out of state with other offers including Bama and Ohio State? No way Mullen would have even attempted to get this guy.
Hot damn.

Looks like a lot of teams are benefiting from UTk being down. We got a handful of Crystal Balls for a 4* DE from Murfeesboro yesterday. Good Get if yall pull him for sure.

Not sure we would have gotten him regardless but this kid was not on this current staffs radar at all for whatever reason. We are gonna have a down year recruiting Tennessee but we seem to be picking up momentum in North Carolina, Alabama, and are still competitive in enough places in Georgia. We will have a top 15 class.

These are the type of players Mullen could never get out of state. Yet Moorhead already about to pull in Ani and pulled in a 4* from LA last week.

Mullen tucked his tail and let Daddy Saban take whoever he wanted with recruits. He wouldn’t even try with out of state guys and would usually lose the instate guys too.

Idk why Pruitt hasn't appeared to make him a priority. He's a great fit at the hybrid DE/OLB position in a 3-4 D-front.
Is Shoop gonna run a 4-3 or 3-4 D-front?

There is a difference between an offer and putting in the effort to try to get a commitment. Of course Mullen offered top guys. He just never wanted to battle it out with the out of state guys.

Ok, this kid has no sense of time.
ETA: He's a Dawg!

Zero chance we would've pulled this kid with Mullen at the helm. JoMo doing work

Not with the other offers he has. The only kids Mullen ever got to commit with that offer list were Mississippi kids.

Mullen was a lazy recruiter, Ole Miss shenanigans was part of the reason.

Outside of the State of Mississippi, I agree. He did well in state though.

Mississippi State has taken the next step under Moorhead. They needed new blood and energy and Moorhead provides it. Should be a fun era for football

I’m a big fan of Moorhead. I think Miss State hit the jackpot hiring him.
