Whatever you want to believe, he's not a guy we've been recruiting really.

Texas fans have been saying he was a lock for months, and I'm enjoying it.

Eric Monroe will hurt a lot though, and he's a done deal to Baton Rouge.

Objectively speaking, Fowler had his A&M offer but there wasn't much A&M heat beyond that. He is definitely a Chavis DE so it's not like he wouldn't have been great for them, but you're trying too hard to celebrate if you consider this a big Aggie defeat. The longhorns are the ones LSU beat out for Fowler, and it was an excellent upset.

Anyway, this guy is going to be a great 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB, or even a MLB regardless of 4-3/3-4. Between him and Andre Anthony, LSU is already putting together an excellent linebacker class with guys like Keion Joyner and Micheal Divinity still in the works.

Agreed on all counts. Sorry not enough LSU fans keep things on the level around here, haha.

Not sure about texags but shaggybevo has spun it to where Fowler was a risk for them grade wise and his work ethic is very questionable.

I know, I was lurking and I'm ashamed.

Sincerely, Ags aren't melting really because it's not the right guys yet. When you take Monroe, there will be melts.

Texas thought they lead for fowler and Thornton, Monday is going to be a sad day for them. They honestly thought fowler was a lock lol... I've seen a lot of posts about him likely flipping to them before February too... Gonna be a rough year in Austin

As a follower of LSU recruiting and recruiting in general, never should something like that be ruled out by any fan base. Been burned in the past enough to have it in the back of our minds.

Funny how all those negatives come out immediately following a recruit choosing the "wrong" school.

My fault, I meant Shaggybevo. Sorry Ags.

i like him a lot, but he'd kind of be a tweener for us.

this was taken recently by your brand new A&M commit Mark Jackson (on the left), so i'm going to assume your recruiting "tweeners"
