To differentiate from new Memphis who I will now refer to as Baby OG Memph. You are OG Memph or original gangster Memphis. You've been here longer. I'll be OG Double B.

Memphis has an offspring. We fricked.

Barker I was just curious because LSU fans say lock and are quick on the draw to debunk anything that would suggest him leaving the state.
LSU fans are sort of emotionally invested in LF's recruitment. He was offered in the 8th grade. We've sort of built him up to mythical proportions. If we were to lose him, it would be the biggest recruiting blow to LSU ever. Ever.

In regards to CRob I think that comes from the confidence of some of the site guys and that is from both sides. But LF all I here is someone has a source but never anything from him.
Same with LF. All the pay sites guy say he's going to LSU and might already know it.

Sort of like UA fans last year with RN. Not one time in his recruitment did I ever see a quote from him stating UA ever lead for him. Speculation for sure based on him visiting, who his coach was and connections to UA, and pics of him in UA gear, but again never claimed UA was his leader. And that with all of our inside sources claiming RN would end up at UA for a long time. See where that got us. So again curious because it almost seems the same thing as RN last year.
I'm convinced that RN knew what he was doing the entire time and was just trying to get his teammates schollies. Look at what he did to Clemson. Decommitted almost a month to the day he committed and left Clemson with about 3 players they wouldn't have taken otherwise. He knew he was going to Ole Miss. He wanted to commit right after he decommitted from Clemson but Freeze made him hold off.

As long as I can play the role of dead beat dad, and don't have to make child support payments, I'm all good with it.

Not trying to be a dick but it seems you are doubting That LF wants to go to LSU because you haven't heard it out of his mouth. Saying you only see posters from various sites saying it. Then when it comes to Cam you are saying he's going to Bama for the exact reasons you say don't matter with LF. Cam has never said anything about favoring Bama over LSU. Not sure if it was intentional or I'm just misreading it. Care to clarify?

He is not yours to lose.
Eta: He doesn't owe da boot or you anything. He should do what is best for him.
Team A has had three RBs taken in the first two rounds the past three years.
Team B hasn't had a RB drafted in the first two rounds since . . . . .
Who would you pick if your career depended on it?
Now that you selected Team A, would you say shite until signing day knowing all Team B fans will go ape shite?
Also, when Team B fans are all over you before you announce, wouldn't you say whatever they wanted to get them to leave you alone?

I think we lead. By a good margin.

Do you really think it takes shite to develop a RB. Either you have it or you don't. LF could go to fricking Sam Houston State and get drafted in the first round. And with the NFL moving further and further away from the run RB's will become less and less important. But keep trying to convince yourself that LF. Oh, and Stevan Ridley will have a better career than Richardson, Ingram or Lacy.
quote:
He doesn't owe da boot or you anything. He should do what is best for him.
Than why does he credit NO and Louisiana for making him the man that he is and he always talks about repping the 504 and "da boot" as you so eloquently put it.
But I'm sure LF will go to the school that has 8 RB's on the roster, most of which are underclassman, even though he's said that he wants to be the man from day one and be the feature back. And what's best for LF according to LF's priorities, is to stay close to home so he can be involved in his community and his brother's life.

You really believe your' own bullshite don't you. You've convinced yourself that LF is a 100% Bama lock and there's nothing that can change that. Now that is some true homer delusion right there.

So please clue me in on your' rational on this subject. Did you base it off of the number of times he's visited Bama? Cause last time I checked he's only visited Bama once in the last year compared to 7 for LSU. Ok, how about family and friends connection to Bama. Well, y'all have Burton Burns and....... nothing, while LSU has Frank Wilson,Trai Turner,Jonah Austin and The Honey Badger, all of whom are directly connected to St.Aug and LF. Alright, I'm sure Bama can offer immediate playing time right? Nope, Bama took, what 4 RB's last year, LSU took none just for LF and he clearly likes the fact that the LSU coaching staff has that much faith and confidence in him to take that gamble. Oh, and Saban's recruiting LF with a future switch to LB in mind and that didn't sit too well with Leonard or his dad.
Just learn to deal with the fact the best high school RB since AD is going to be making Bama's D look like swiss cheese over the next few years at LSU. I promise you that things will be much less stressful once you realize that LF is going to LSU.

Team A has those 3 current RB's in the NFL. One starts, one is meh at best, and one is an incoming rookie that showed up out of shape.
Team B has 7 former backs still in the NFL.
Davis
Holiday
Hester
Williams
Ford
Ware
Ridley
Only one is pre Miles era.
You do that math, gump.

It's just discussion. Isn't that what this board is for? Garfield made some points and I came up with counter points. If I was mad I could have gone all Peej and POSTED things in all CAPS at inappropriate times.
ETA: What I don't get is people get mad when ever someone posts DWI, U mad or jelly and then also get mad when ever someone makes valid points and is "taking things to seriously". I mean what do you want?
ETAA: And I'm a little on edge. Bout to go back to Cali and deal with some shite I don't want to and haven't smoked in three weeks.

I think the only difference between LF and CR is that CR recruitment has shown at different points he could go to either school. Like you said LF has kept it close to himself. Again not saying LF will not end up at LSU it just seems because he is from LA, the LSU staff has invested so much in him, and he has not named anyone a leader, especially outside the state, that there seems to be even more speculation on where he is headed, which may be warranted it.
I guess if I was an LSU fan I would be more upset that he has not already committed to help give the class a boost and erase any concerns there may be. Sort of like most UA fans feel about M Humhprey.

I said that all long as well. He shopped his friends. I think he liked Clemson but his mother had already made the decision for him long before he committed to Clemson.

I believe LF wants to go to LSU and I believe that is where he will end up. But to me there seems to be more speculation based on what is not there because he is from LA and the staff has invested so much into him.
CR I think there is more out there that suggest he could end up at either school and I am not convinced he will end up at UA either. I do think he may be our best chance to land a big recruit out of LA.
I hope that helps.

Team A's first round picks haven't done dick which is why their last back drafted fell so far.Ridley > Team A's NFL backs.
