This could actually be a blessing in disguise. We would get all the PUB since he is the only big name left. Any news on the other big man that was looking at Us and Louisville?

naw Barber is a scoring guard but the guy they have now is a pure shooter. Totally different. I think that they would take both.

I think Barber is a pure point guard. He's way quicker than Releford. Hopefully we'll play a fast style this year and show some of these kids that we'll have a fun offense to play in.

Telep just mentioned that he signed 4 LOIs before the deadline and that the one he chooses will bind him to the team. Greg hasn't said anything yet to my knowledge.

Nothing would really shock me at this point. The Texas guy is just taking a guess most likely. I assume it will b us or them but Mizzou would just make room if he wanted to sign with them.

That same guy from Texas' 247 said that there are only 3 people that knows what is going on. Pollard, his mom and one more. Also said, all of these sources in Mississippi and in other places are full of shite and don't know as much as they think they do

While this has been a back and forth battle between mind and heart (Bama & Texas, as reported), it looks like we may just win out. The latest message I received (minutes ago) was "95% sure Bama!!!" While it's never over until the fat lady sings, and we've all seen crazy things happen in recruiting, this is the most positive my source has been about DP to Bama since we started recruiting him!
So, let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope nothing happens between last night and Friday evening change this situation.
