I think we get all 3. Pollard, Walker, and Johnson

Hmm. Got this off of twitter. D. Mostella and Justin Pride will be attending Kingdom Prep school next year.

Cecil Hurt said that if Noel had picked Georgetown, UK and Georgetown would have picked up the heat on Pollard.

WTF SMH. According to Rivals they have 3 SGs signed for this class already. Dang oh well. Itll work out.

Cecil must know something I don't, because I figured Noel picking Georgetown would have pretty much eliminated them. Kentucky I could have seen going after him harder though.

Here is his response when Wooly Al ask him why.

@WoollyAl Lots of speculation that he would like to play w/ Noel at G'town. UK just moves on to next 5-star when it misses on one.

That's the kind of shite that makes me wonder about some of these kids. He talks like college is the last place he wants to be, so he wants to go somewhere that he will turn him into a 1st round pick after a year or two. In order to accomplish that, he wants to go play with a guy who will start in the front court of any school in the country as a freshman? His chances of starting would automatically be reduced if he played on the same team as Nerlens Noel. Fact.

The NBA needs to get rid of the 1 and done rule. Cal and UK are going to slowly destroy the soul of college basketball.

I'm losing my patience with this. If somebody could please let me know when to meltdown I'd appreciate it.

If we miss on Pollard, go into meltdown mode. That would mean we under performed all season and then missed on every top target.
Posted on 4/12/12 at 3:35 pm to Bryant91092
I'm prepared to melt.
I bet he's going to go to Kentucky.
If we have 3, possibly 4 if the Eblen stuff has any truth to it, scholarships open and use them up on a bunch of Plan C guys, Grant will have really dropped the ball.

I don't see him going to UK. I think it's us or Georgetown. I'll lose it if we miss on him.

You and Robot have me scared now

I just really don't understand the Georgetown appeal for him.
It's a horrible fit. Mizzou or Kentucky would make sense. We make sense. Georgetown makes 0 sense.

But how often do these kids make the sensible move? Bazz to UCLA, I rest my case.

If we don't land Pollard, I'm going to find you and punch you right in the nuts.

That was a completely different situation. No way in hell he was going to a Nike school.
