Setting up visits with Bama, Georgia and Mizzou

I don’t think he’s ever been very solid to OU and looks like a prime flip candidate

Pretty good chance. I will say I think mizzou has a better chance than OU, but not saying mizzou has a better chance than bama.

He quickly jumped onto OU, but it never seemed like a strong commitment. Hes close with Mizzous incoming QB, along with 2 other players. And he did transfer to play at ESTL which mizzou has a good connection with. I do think this helps.

Hes also mentored by a close family friend who played for mizzou, and still involved with the school.

Sure hope so.

Our staff has been recruiting him hard since the start, even after he committed to OU. I think we have a good chance, but anytime Bama is involved...

Mizzou needs a recruiting win like this.

I remember back in the DGB days when that happened

If Drink can’t, no one in Missouri could but frick do I hope so. Most talented WR to come out since DGB which would be huge as he likely wouldn’t have the plethora of personal issues Dorial had to go along with the lack of real football smarts.

Hopefully guys like Mookie Cooper, Sam Horn, Lovett, and 2022 Missouri guys like Gracial, Thompson, and Wayne can work magic.

frick Bama. They need to just give us this one. Goddamn. Go pillage some southern states like Florida and SC and GA.

I don't think it's even sure we get a visit, but Drink may actually be able to capitalize on grabbing a 5 star. Pinkel just wasn't able to build on top of it, he hit a wall

If Drink can pull this off there is a legitimate chance of a top 10 class which I would have told you was a pipe dream two years ago.

With all due respect, I mean it, what are the odds a kid from East Saint Louis is even going to qualify?

The main issue back then was it was just one very good player and the rest of the roster wasn't very good. That isn't the case this time around. Drinkwitz is recruiting more 4* players in one class and that is very impressive. The key is to get good players at all position. Like all the rest of the top teams do regularly. This is what Mizzou need to compete with the big boys. The State of Missouri is a perfect location for Mizzou to get the right HC to lockdown top local recruits. No HC since Dan Devine was able to do that. Gary Pinkel did it for only one and maybe two years and then the team recruiting class went back down in the 30s to 40s.

With the free transfer I don’t see the drawback in giving the home team first try. If they can’t add talent year one or two go find a contender with a hole. Outside of going somewhere that would kill your professional outlook. Mizzou won’t have that problem with a WR.

With the Crimson Tide, Burden thinks it is obvious why he wants to get to Tuscaloosa.

"It's Bama," he stated. "Got to go see Bama. That's my dream school. I've never been there in the facilty, so I want to see what it's about."

We just had two last year. One had a 3.5 GPA first semester and the other had a 4.0

Burden won’t have any problems qualifying

Bama definitely worries me the most, it’s Bama and their recent track record with WR is undeniable.

He would no doubt start day 1 here though and be a focal part of the offense. We have a lot of talent in the slot, but not much on the outside. That would be our best selling point...plus the close to home thing and many of his friends wil be on the team.
