FL teams are not coming to Bama to figure out a offense. They are coming to OU
And yet you have been eliminated in the Playoffs by scores of 37-17 and 54-48. But you think a little more offense is what Oklahoma needs.

Lol I just looked it up. VOLS and Georgia both have 3 receivers in the league right now despite VOLS sucking complete arse for the last 10 years and Georgia currently not sucking arse. Yikes!
I'm going to assume you miscounted:
Chris Conley
AJ Green
Isaiah McKenzie
Javon Wims
AJ Green ranked #6 on the 10 best WR list. (Or at least 1 of the many lists)
LINK
Nobody isn't saying Tennessee isn't in it, but your fan base was making statements like this: I can’t name one good WR UGA has produced apart from AJ Green. Hines was just a tPOS
First it doesn't matter what Hines Ward is, he is a HOF receiver, and we have more receivers from Georgia in the NFL than Tennessee, does. Secondly Tennessee has signed more "top tier" WR than Georgia has in the recent past that have busted.
Haselwood might =go to Tennessee....who knows? but to say it is because Georgia is a bad school for WR's to go to and Tennessee is a good school is just wrong.
quote:That's great, but haselwood isn't playing 10 years ago. Fact is, Georgia has a first round pick more recently than Tennessee. (Just guessing on that one, but with AJ Green, I feel fairly safe)
VOLS have produced 11 first round draft picks at WR all time, which was the most in the country as of two annums ago. Georgia has produced 2 first round picks at WR all time lmfao.

Cordarelle Patterson went in the first round in 2013, so looks like you’re wrong and Tennessee does, in fact, have a first round WR more recently than UGA

Cordarelle Patterson was a big miss for UGA imo. If we had him we would’ve beat bama in the 2012 SECC. That was the only year marlon brown produced and he tore his acl before that game leaving us without a big receiver.

Or course our would rather take a defensive player who is rated high. We pretty much have a defense that has 3-4 5stars, 5 4star,3 star players on the starting defense. Talent isn’t as bad as you think. The problem is the passing teams for whatever reason cause OU problems. If you have a chance to take a 5 star player you take him and make room.

CP was so much fun to watch in Orange, about the only highlight from the Dooley years

Mojo, it’s a crime to have an offense that good in Oklahoma and to have a defense that is that bad. Simply amazing.

Was actually entertaining watching the ESPN wrap up crew drag OU for their awful defense... "It's one thing if guys are trying hard, but they aren't even giving good effort... [examples 1, 2, 3, etc...]"

Passing teams cause problems for everybody. You really need a few lockdown corners and someone like Striker who brings pressure non-stop that can speed up the QB clock so he makes mistakes. OU has looked miserable defensively lately and it's never been a talent issue. You just don't have that difference maker.

I didn't realize he went in the first round. Point for you. I don't know why, but for some reason I was thinking Patterson came from Ohio State. Caught me off guard he was from UT.
Surely you won't deny me my point for pointing out we have more in the NFL, though.

I don’t think either UGA or UTK can be described as WR factories the past decade so no point for you

I want my point!

But you're right.

basically the new dc didn't have time to make wholesale changes during the bye week. We are still playing off the ball 10 yards and getting beat by 10 yards lol. I would rather blitz 3 guys and hit the qb (maybe) and give up a td rather than set back and watch us try and cover a deep ball. Our new dc Golding will have us going next year. I just hope OU didn't waste two of the best qbs we have had ever two years in a row because our defense couldn't stop a peewee qb.

His HS QB was on our team. I don't think you ever had a chance.

Jadon Haselwood is one of the most talked about recruits in the country. He decommitted from Georgia last month, and even before then, while committed to the Bulldogs, he was taking visits and remained a hot topic. Since opening up, Miami has emerged as the school most link Haselwood to. Georgia is working hard to get him back and he will be in Athens for an official visit later this month. Auburn and Oklahoma have already had him in for official visits. Tennessee has quietly snuck into this race and is a team to watch. The Vols have made a big push and he is likely to visit Knoxville at least once between now and the Early Signing Period. This is one that could still go a number of different ways. Miami and Tennessee are the most talked about schools around Haselwood at this time with Georgia still hanging around.
