Nothing good or bad ever happens for UGA on a message board. We just talk about events and speculate.
On Russell, that commitment was a surprise to most UGA people because of his family connection to Auburn. That's pretty easy to chalk up to informed speculation

Wow, that escalated rather swiftly. I was merely stating the reasons behind TT'S flirtation, now moving on to heavy petting. As an afterthought I threw in a tidbit I was told about the Check deal in Athens. A couple of guys really hurt my feelings. I will soldier on.

Proof about which? If they happen, I was right. If not I will say I missed. The only thing that is even provable is the Check deal. If nothing comes of it I will say so.
All of these were merely "Points" made as reasons to explain why TT et al, don't wind up in Athens. I didn't even say AU would sign him, just that it is closer than the Bulldogs (<-- SWIDT) want to admit.

Just for clarification purposes and so I don't have to wade through a bunch of BS pages to figure it out:
What, specifically, should I be looking for to happen? Name it. I'm not even calling bullshite, just giving you the opportunity to have yourself proved right at a later date.
ETA: Still waiting. I'll reiterate that I'm not calling you out on bad info...yet. There's a good chance you know more about inner workings of the UGA program than I do. The ONLY team I have any inside info on at all is not an SEC team.

It appears to me that, when Trent inevitably commits to UGA, he wants us to concede that Auburn wasn't as far behind as our posts currently make it sound.

I guess if more information comes out about the Check cashing stuff. If it doesn't, I will be the first to admit it. I am going to see if I can find out any more on it. Like I said, if it hadn't been this person who told me, I would have just shrugged it off. Also, I never said that it would destroy your program either. Just that it is a reason some kids are holding back.
With Smiley, it can't be proven that it's closer than you guys would like any more than it already has. So I am chalking that one as a win for the good guys. Just getting him to visit this much ensures that it is close. Until his LOI is sent, nobody hasReally won a darn thing honestly.
