Depends on what he feels his future in football is. If he's just playing for the love of the game and to get him to a good school, the preferred walk on would make sense (especially if he has HOPE or Zell scholarship). But if he wants PT and school isn't as much of a focus, then the smaller offers are probably a bigger pull

True but if you're playing for the love of the game you probably want to actually have a chance to play which he obviously won't have at UGA.

I don't know man....have you seen the hype behind this kid?

Someone like him, who i'd imagine has never backed up anyone, would think he has a shot at overtaking anyone on the depth chart. And that's exactly what Auburn, UGA, and Florida State are telling him too.

What's interesting, is his thought process watching this season play out. Lets just hypothetically assume UGA is his #1 at the moment (or insert your school, it doens't matter). Do you think he wants to see how the Offense performs and hopes they have a strong season? Or do you think he secretly hopes Eason slips up, so he can easily slide in that position next year?

He would not come in over Eason day 1 so it would be better for the offense to perform well and Eason leave next year. Then he only has to beat out Fromm

He's talking about the receiver we just offered, not Fields.

Despite your initial confusion, this is something to consider.

I'm thinking it is neck and neck and neck right now.

PWO is not a "Ship"

Kirby at least acknowledged this kid, he was ignored at the Barn and Free Shoes..

I think UGA is at full court press, like going all in including having the kid, his parents, and best friend/wr come to UGA to watch the fight with Smart this past weekend. Will it pay off? Who knows...but what I do know is this:

If UGA doesn't get Fields, it won't be due to lack of effort...I think we have done everything we can. The play on the field will probably be the deciding factor.

Classic "compare white receivers to only white receivers" analogy there by Kirby

I know. He reminds me more of Michael Bennett

That's because he's not good enough to play at those schools or at UGA.

Agree. It def seems like Kirby and UGA are working the hardest which as an AU fan pisses me off because this kid was made to play in our offense and we had an in with him growing up an AU/Cam fan.

One thing that's refreshing about Kirby is we know we're never gonna be outworked on the trail. He'll miss but not due to lack of anything in his control.

Dude, I dont even think Eason will finish this season as the UGA starter. By game 3 or 4 UGA will be starting Jake Fromm.
