Here's what sucks, OP has always liked Tennessee, we led for him early on, he's visited Knoxville a hundred times, and if we were playing on a similar level to Auburn or Georgia, I honestly believe he'd be a VOL.
But we're not, Lyle getting a 5th year absolutely decimated this team, we're a 6-6 team at best this year and that's if Pruitt is a great coach and we don't have too many injuries.
OP wants to win now, and unfortunately we're a minimum of 3 years away from East title contention.

I honestly will not be surprised if this played out. We were on the way outside looking in 2 months ago so either (1) our staff (T-Will) completely smashed this one out of the universe, or (2) this has been a hype job to make a spectacle in what would otherwise just be a ho-hum commitment (I’ve always assumed it was UGA until this past week).

He said he's not gonna change his Crystal Ball because he thinks tomorrow will not be the end of Pappoe's recruitment and that he will eventually sign with UGA. But admitted that he's hearing way more AU chatter right now. Pointed to Brenton Cox & Adam Anderson as examples of how he thinks this recruitment turns out

Auburn has done a great job here. Two things help them- Position coach and depth chart. Mostly the coach. He picks Auburn tomorrow.

Wat? No AU insider is claiming it’s a done deal at all. We are mainly going on what Rusty is saying as much as you guys. AU insiders are just saying AU has done a hell of a job to to catch UGA here or perhaps pull ahead, but no one will be ‘shocked’ if he does pick UGA. You guys have been the betting favorite for a while and you all still seem to think he signs there despite what he chooses tomorrow.
