Just read through the recruit discussion, the difference isn't in the recruits. Both LSU and A&M will always get great players.
But the difference with the defensive recruits is this: when LSUs defensive guys get to campus, they'll be coached by John Chavis.... Not Mark fricking Snyder.

and in talent but whatever. a&m, and Snyder, has never had as talented as a defense chavis has had. we wont until probably 2015
you also seem to be forgetting that we don't need a top 10 defense to be successful when we will have our offense. all we will need is a top 30/25 D

What do you go by? How many yards a team gave up? And he did that after losing, what, 8 defensive guys to the draft?
Snyder probably hasn't sent 8 guys to the league in his whole damn career.

Yeah you're right! Because with a Heisman QB, an outstanding O Line, a terrific WR unit, and no defense, y'all tore it up!
Keep it up, with that formula you may get all the way up to #3 in the west!

Maybe if A&M worried more about points and not "efficiency" they wouldn't have a junior high defense

I'm not about to argue whose a better defensive coordinator, Chavis is top 5 in the nation easily while Snyder isn't even top 5 in the West. Come on now, get real.

But what I'm saying is odds are y'all's offense won't be as good. It just won't be, you don't see an offense like that all the time. So even with a better defense, the offense won't be as good and you'll be in the same place.
