Not that it matters, but he’s a 5 star on 247sports composite rankings. Assuming that’s where it comes from.

Just a general question - do we know how they calculate that? I've seen similar situations where a kid is a 3* on all the sites but 247 composite has him as a 4* and I've never been able to figure it out.

Zero idea. I assume they just take an average rank. For instance, his average rank makes him a 31 in the ranking and therefore a 5 star in the composite. If one service has another guy ranked at number 12, but then another service has him at a 75. His average rank will be lower than Whitehead even though he has an actual rank of 5 star on a service while Whitehead does not. This is just me guessing though.
