you're kidding yourself if you think Nick Saban sits down and watches film on VH3 and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu because he can't decide on which one is more deserving.
Ekpre-Olomu goes in the first round if he doesn't blow out his knee. VH3 will go in the top 10 but based on production at the college level, IFO locked down his side of the field in both the run and pass game.
Watch Ugo Amadi be all American at Oregon - our baby IFO.

Pankreb is such a pussy. Who are these clowns that post on here?

It isn't Saban watching VH3 that's we're debating. It's highly doubtful that Saban has spent any time watching some DB from Arizona that Bama has next to zero chance of playing.
Which is why VH3 being second team is a joke. Anyone with a basic understanding the game knows he's, hands down, the best corner in the country.

I've been around some high level coaches in my day, mainly in basketball, but I think it carries over. All the coaches I've been around follow their respective sport better than any journalist could. It's part of the love of the game.
If anything this argument should be that coaches are biased towards their own conference players since they likely watch them the most in the event that they play each other.
He may not be studying film on a kid in Arizona, but if the kid is good, I think Saban is going to eventually see some footage.

And that's without mentioning another 5 star, Donte Jackson. Our defensive backfield is going to be insanely good.

You're missing my point. Ekpre-Olomu is nasty, so is VH3. I was using them as an example, nothing more.
frick Amadi Ugo. Hope him and Drew Richmond have a healthy, bench warming career.

There's really not much to say. You post a commitment, a few people say "good pickup", a few "Booms", and then it's all trolling. This is how all major commitment threads go. Live with it.

Every single Duck player interviewed this winter is saying Ugo is the biggest surprise (in a small package). Dude has gamer written all over him. Sorry.

Saban, or someone on staff, has been in the living room of most kids who are good enough to be a college AA. Coaches also clearly watch football.
My buddy that coaches in D2 records a solid 5-10 games every Saturday. He likes football. He chose it as a career. I don't know why it's so hard to believe that coaches know what's going on with the best players in the country.

been putting on weight this offseason, will play outside linebacker to help with LSU's lack of depth. May actually get good PT this year at OLB, definitely a starter the following year.
