Aranda quietly recruits kids typically and has been on him for 2.5 years now. Yes it was a surprise to the staff but it’s only out of left field for everyone but the coaches.

All O needed was that NY6 to get the recruiting to an elite level....the 3 other top ten wins last year don’t hurt either

I think even O's biggest detractors knew he was going to recruit great talent (and leave the cupboard full for the next hire in a year or two
), but damn...I don't think anyone saw recruiting like this coming. It's unreal.

There’s no realistic Bama fan that doesn’t believe Alabama isn’t paying players. It’s just not the coaches doing it. Everyone that’s getting blue chip players is paying for them one way or another.
