Isn't there an LSU fan on here who went to IMG? Maybe he can fill us in.

Apparently this kid wants to visit Tennessee.

"I am trying to get up to see Georgia, Tennessee and Missouri. I am also trying to go and see Ohio State. Those are the schools that I am really looking to go and see. There really aren't any other schools that I am considering besides those schools (and LSU) for official visits."

not trying to be an arse, but if Shavar goes anywhere but LSU, it's to florida

pretty much the only teams in it and from what has been said, he's silent commit right now...I know I hate the term too but he's coming to LSU.

He may be, but that's the dumbest claim you can make, especially when you have no connection at all to the kid and all anyone knows is word of mouth, at the most

You're exactly right. Granted I started IMG in 2005 so things might be slightly different now with the football program being a thing (even though I doubt it, it was the same for 30 straight years beforehand) but when I went there they were crazy about us going to class and showing up. Our disciplinarian would call me within 10 minutes if I was late to class asking where I was every single time.

And to the idiot making IMG out to be that basketball school that closed down a while back with the super crooked academics, it isn't. Little known fact: IMG academy doesn't even have academics. You get to choose from 3 (very credible) schools when you sign up for IMG to go for the book learning aspect of your life. IMG is strictly for sports

This was actually my assumption from the very beginning. I think the AAU team that Avery Bradley, Cory Joseph, Tristan Thompson, and Mychal Kabongo out in Vegas is the same thing. They are just a basketball team, but they go to school (the book part) at a completely different high school.

I wouldn't put much stock into cb's. They've been known to be 100 percent wrong. For instance Travel Moore had a 100% cb to TCU and committed to LSU. Signing day is the only thing that matters.

Then proceeds to give one instance of a small time recruit who isn't even considered an LSU commit bybecause he has grade problem(thus why many had CB'd him to TCU).
