I'm surprised by the amount of "Jimbo to LSU" talk we've seen on LSU boards recently. I'm not saying that there is no chance he'd leave A&M, but there is no chance he'd leave A&M.

I've literally never seen A&M insiders this confident about recruiting as we enter November. They sound exceedingly confident that we're going to finish with "at least" a top 3 class.

Never had this number of visits from this high a quality of recruits. Never hurts to get them on campus.

There is no denying that A&M has turned the corner in recruiting. They've been good....but now they are entering Alabama and Georgia territory.

We've been talking about it on another board, and it is very impressive the players A&M is leading for. A&M is probably doing the best job NIL wise in the country. (I realize that some on here will take that as a dig...but it seriously isn't. NIL is a part of recruiting now and everybody should put it into their pitch) Kudos.

It makes me wonder, given the massive number of companies in the area I live (both large and small), why UW couldn't lead the way with NIL. Maybe it just proves how little the West Coast cares about college sports.

Jacoby just picked up a crystal ball from Steve Wiltfong for A&M.

The worry I have with Perkins and Jacoby is this: they're waiting around to see if they like the LSU hire and, if they do, we could lose them both.

That's big boy recruiting. Can't count on anything until that fax comes across and you better recruit until the end. With NIL that's even more pronounced, no telling what these kids get promised much less their families.

That said this was surprising, thought Matthews was trending away. A 5 Confidence isn't exactly a stone cold lock but I will sure take it. If A&M manages to win out I could see getting the #1 Class, the momentum is very real right now and you have Walter Nolen actively recruiting for the Aggies.

“But now their nearing UGA and Alabama territory” you cant put yourself on Bama’s level. This is the first year y’all aren’t wasting recruits. 1980 bud

UGA has had 2 #1 classes under Kirby. Now keep that trap shut and wave goodbye to your class

Some CBs coming in for a 3 star safety to LSU from some LSU insiders, did the staff concede that they lost Jacoby and send out a committable offer to the 3 star?

Jordan Allen getting an offer is unrelated to Matthews' decision.
