I wasn't that hyped. I mean I'm happy we got him, but I guess I've become spoiled with great RBs at UGA. That is one position we always recruit well.

I share those same exact sentiments. We've been spoiled by RB talent for as long as I can remember. If anything, it's status quo

I like Hill and Salyer, both are going to be AA. We should be hyped for those guys. Landing Fields should be considered an upset. Fields is so damn transcendent. Look at what Deshaun Watson did for a floundering team like Clemson. Talk about igniting a fanbase

Floundering team like Clemson is hilarious coming from a UGA fan. Clemson won a BCS bowl game going 11-2 the year before DW showed up on campus

Why? Y'all hadn't won a game against us since 1990 until your win against us in 2013. In that span, we won the SEC twice, including back-to-back trips to Atlanta in 2011 and 2012.

I'm not trashing Clemson. They are king of CF and rightfully so. But let's not ignore the fact y'all recently went 20 years without registering a 10 win season. Heck, I think they've had more 10 win seasons the last 5 years than they had the previous 100 years combined. Point I was trying to make is a lot can change in 5 years, it's been proven by Clemson and Deshaun Watson. Congrats again on your National Title

Fields is by far my most wanted recruit in a LONG time. I really think he could our Cam, Tebow, Watson, Vince Young.
Elite dual-threat quarterbacks win championships. Pro-style QBs need everything to be perfect while dual-threat can turn a broken play into big play.
