It's not trolling to suggest it's a real possibility. Based on the backlash, it seems like some UGA fans might be concerned. In addition, I think it's a bit premature to suggest that Fromm is definitely leaving school early for the draft.
I really don't see how his situation is analogous to that of Hurts, but okay.

He didn't say it was a possiblity. he said "when Fields transfers..."
There is a difference.

Not at all. Fromm will go pro after next season and Fields will take over. If Fields transfers, he will sit out next season anyway. What would he gain by transferring?

I don't either. I mean, Hurts was starting for Alabama then sat down, whereas Field was not starting for Georgia.
quote:Why? he has been projected as high as #2 in a couple of mock drafts. If that holds true, how would it benefit him to come back to georgia.
n addition, I think it's a bit premature to suggest that Fromm is definitely leaving school early for the draft.
Just so I understand you correctly, though. It is not unreasonable to assume Fields will transfer, but it is unreasonable to think Fromm will go pro?

How drunk were you when you created your username?
Back to Fields and Fromm. The NFL scouts seem to love Jake, but I also think Jake really loves Georgia. It’s a toss up if he decides to go pro. That decision will likely dictate what Fields does. However that decision is 12 months away so I’m not overly concerned that Fields will leave before that time

Question for UGA fans regarding Sanders. Do you guys see him as a can't miss type of RB who just a very good RB? I feel the latter but I am not a coach.

I think Emery is the best RB in this class, but Sanders isn’t far behind. I think the best RB’s in the country are both juniors in Zachary Evans and Kendall Milton. So to answer your question, I wouldn’t categorize him as a “can’t miss” but a luxury at this point.

I'd agree on that. Some people are saying he would be best back coming into UGA in years. That's incorrect in my opinion. White was best back since Gurley but he got injured....

White was the best back coming out of high school in a long time. It's legitimately sad what has happened to him over the course of a year.

I think he and Emery are "can't miss" types of RBs. This is, overall, a weaker class of running backs in my opinion. But I think Trey Sanders is legit. Whoever gets him, whether it is Georgia or Alabama, will be getting n excellent back. And, when you consider the OLines both teams have, it makes him that much more dangerous.

How dumb is Fields going to feel when he winds up transferring because Fromm is blocking his PT and he recruited all those kids to come to UGA?
frick off
Edit: what's with all the new Bammer posters on the recruiting board? You guys are giving the rest of the fan base a bad name.

I remember on a few boards I got jumped on by some UGA fans when I said Gurley was a better RB coming out of HS their senior year then Marshall. I got to see them both play. I made the comment that Gurley was going to be a can't miss type of RB but Marshall would not be. People get some enamored over the star and ratings.
I feel Sanders is more like a Marshall coming out of HS.

Marshall was great before he tore his ACL. He had the ability to turn any play into a homerun. After he tore his ACL it seemed like he started playing scared

But he was not better then Gurley coming out of HS. Marshall had the luxury of talent in front of him and against the top teams that season was not as impressive. Yes if he could get past the LBs he was gone.

Completely different backs. Marshall was strictly a speed guy. His vision wasn’t great and he struggled to break tackles. Sanders is a bigger back, built to run between the tackles.

I agree but I was not comparing their styles of play. I was meaning neither one in my opinion are a can't miss type of player. Solid addition to the roster but not the type of RB that comes in as sees a lot of early playing time. Gurley was that type.

And thus begins the downgrading...

Man UGA fans are really insecure. I asked a legit question but yet you get your panties in a wad. So sad it really is.

Any different then a UGA fan saying:
