I think I even saw a tweet where Perkins said it was no longer up to him whether he went to State.
The offer was there for sure on the 25th and State really wanted him.
When he did not commit, they took that as a no and pulled the offer. They recovered and got another player, they were not waiting or they may have missed both guys.
