I wonder if Bama will see him then. Anyone have an idea?

I am pretty sure one of our staff reported he was there last night. But who knows because on the 19th will be the first time in several(weeks/months) anyone, any source, any site, or any fan will actually here Dean say where he is going.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a mutual decision between Nakobe and Bama to do it today or tomorrow. Sounds like OM ate up as much time as they could today. Good news is it gives more time for Kirby’s pitch to really settle in his mind before Saban gets there. Bad news for us is it sets up Saban to have the final in home and have the recency bias in his decision

This is really the thing. All I’ve learned troghiut the past week is that everyone has a lot of opinions on where Nakobe should go but the person that matters most has not said anything one way or the other.

Nobody knows what this kid is doing. We've got CBs to Georgia and CBs to Bama. The kid is playing it cool.

I like it when they keep it close to themselves. I hate kids that troll, and I don't mind it when they come right out and make it public, but when there is a lot of mystery it keeps it exciting.

Sanders is not a long shot, unless you think 50/50 is a long shot.

I'm curious...I know he is interested, but who said it was 50/50 with Sanders? I mean, that would be very encouraging, but I haven't seen that.

No, that's me.
I just want to keep the recruiting thread as clean as possible, so we can get actual news.

I have to admit that I have just about given up on that crusade, though.

I have learned to just sit back and wait. I have many times from insiders a kid was going to do this or that yet the kid was never quoted and turned out differently then what most expected.

It seems with the kids that keep it close to the vest it brings out more insiders then ever before.

It's easy, the ones that don't commit to Bama didn't have offers to Bama. Isn't that the way it always works? ;-)

Well, I mean, it was our fan base that was claiming DJ Daniel didn't have a committable offer when he committed to South Carolina. Then when he flipped.....

Then there was Sandidge. He went to South Carolina and some of our posters began saying he wanted to come to UGA, but we turned him away.

Don't get me wrong....both might have been correct, but nobody would know that, and it just seems like sour grapes when people come out saying stuff like that. Even if it is true, it is best just to stay quiet and congratulate the other team. It does not elevate or deflate a kids worth based upon what school wants him or does not want him.
It's a pretty normal reaction for everybody.

BOL is reporting Saban did have his in-home with Dean last night.

I was thinking I saw that somewhere, but wasn't sure. I knew he was getting ready to go to an All-Star game so the visits were going to be nonexistent pretty soon.

Saban did sneak in a quick in home in between Ole Miss visits. I wasn’t aware of that

Well seeing as all but two of them will sign next week, yes, I will be editing it again.

As long as I get my “major props” from you if Dawgs sign one more of Dean, Sanders, Wright or Neal! :)

To even imply that Saban lets ole Miss dictate when and how long his visit is, is laughable. Only allowed one final visit anyway. Not multiple the same day for sure. I am sure he stayed as long as he wanted/needed to.
