Clearly.... since you said Saban and Alabama do not want Maason Smith and Korey Foreman and yet here you are still posting in thread 11 pages later.

What are you talking about, what question did you direct towards me?
Posted on 9/25/20 at 2:17 pm to Dragula
My question directed right at you. A one-word "Yes" or "No" answer to it is sufficient. Instead of answering it, you started (and have kept on) deflecting by lashing out at me.
Correction: My question was actually directed to someone else, but you quoted it and responded without answering it.

See, you're still unwilling to answer my question directed right at you. A one-word "Yes" or "No" answer to it is sufficient. Instead, you've kept on deflecting by lashing out at me.
You asked a general question, not directed at me. I responded to you.
If you clearly understood what was going on, the process, the request, you would already know the answer.
Or do you?
I'll answer any question you like.
But tell me why did the NCAA send the request to IARP?
I asked yo this and you are dodging, deflecting....and "leaving the chat".

ESPN | NCAA says Independent Accountability Resolution Process to handle LSU (BB and FB) infractions case
Threads on above news: Tiger Rant | SEC Rant
As the linked article indicates, the NCAA requested the IARP adjudication because that's what the IARP was established for -- to conduct adjudication of complex infractions cases.

Why are you dodging the question I asked?
Nothing in the article above answers the question I asked you.

I'm not really dodging your question, which is really just your lead up to you posting your self-comforting "they ain't got no proof" take on the situation.
A few posters were promoting skirting NCAA rules in recruiting Maason Smith. I made a few posts related to that. But I don't want to take part in a long derailment of Captain Crown's thread. LSU's infractions case that's been turned over to the IARP is off-topic. I shouldn't have mentioned it in this thread. And you really should go to one of the threads I linked above to discuss it.

Wrong... But I'll tell you because I like you, Surge.
The NCAA doesn't need the IARP to determine every infraction.
The NCAA asked the IARP to review because after 2 years, thousands of hours of investigation, multitude of agents, agents sent to Smart's home (his mom still lives in the same small house from childhood), Smart's mother's employment, cousins, aunts, uncles, THOUSANDS of text messages from Will Wade's phone.... the NCAA could not find any concrete evidence of any payment for play.
Also, the NCAA closed the football violation investigation earlier this year.
So to recap, the NCAA has exhausted all resources and after finding nothing, their Hail Mary is asking the IARP to review.

The football allegations have been known for several years. They involve an embezzler. They have long been turned over to the NCAA with no action.
The reason for the ncaa move is that they suspect Will Wade of significant infractions. They have been unable to prove much of anything.
The ncaa has 60,000 text messages off of Wades phone.. no evidence of violation. They have the tape and other allegations from Dawkins. No proof of anything.
The ncaa is trying to leverage old football allegations, 2014 and earlier, to get LSU to take action against wade... the infamous lack of institutional control charge.
At least that is the back story in BTR

You never know what goes on in a kids mind when he is at a loss. He could be thinking that he could have made a big difference, or he could be thinking that he wants nothing to do with something like that. Or it could make absolutely no difference at all.
