Feel pretty good that he signed with us yesterday. We've got folks that signed with us yesterday and didn't announce as well.

Been reported that he was in contact with our coaches last night. Don’t think they would have talks if he signed already . Having said that, he probably goes to UGA when it’s all said and done

Yeah I've heard a few different things on Washington. Think it'll be one of those things that nobody really has solid info on.
He knows UGA has no TE. And he also knows he will play immediately here. I sure hope he ends up with us. The kid will be a game changer on offense.

There are a few people on 247 that say he absolutely signed with UGA yesterday. Kinda acting like gamecock steve. Idk if they really know shite tho. Havent really heard much out of rusty and kipp on the matter.

They are wrong.
Washington was in contact with the Alabama staff this morning. If he signed with Georgia yesterday he would not be speaking to Alabama today.

Washington can call a coach. Especially to tell them he picked another team. Do you think Nick Saban would ruin his announcement just because he didn't pick Alabama?

Saban or any coach wouldn’t do that . That very well may be why he called , but he did call. Most kids call all coaches BEFORE they sign with another school though

You can't contact a prospect after he has signed. Could Washington have called him? Sure. But wouldn't he have done that before he signed?

Lot of people don't like Saban, but he is professional and he would never ruin a kids day.
What is telling at this moment, is that UGA has no feasible TE on the roster and Washington was our only recruitment. There has been no new last minute TE offers out. The mods over at 247 have been absolutely quiet about Washington, even when being asked questions over and over.....leads me to believe they may be trying to keep the kids secret alive too.
Of course all my thoughts could be wrong and he could be signing with Tennessee. Don't take anything I say for fact, because I am guessing at it all really.

Aren't you the same guy who posted the conspiracy theory last year that the media members who broke the story that Fields was transferring did so to derail UGA's recruiting class?

Tim Watts did not say that exactly. Would you like me to quote him? He says he was told that he didnt sign. Also says it could all be misdirection.

TideSaint here you go getting all up in arms over nothing. My point is that Saban isn't telling Tim Watts shite. So he may or may not have signed yesterday, but that phone call doesn't really indicate much. That rule on signing an LOI only applies if the other coaching staffs don't know he signed one yet.
