The future of Florida's wide receiver room continues to look bright. On Wednesday, Dan Mullen and the Gators secured a public commitment from Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange Top247 wide receiver Jayden Gibson live on CBSSports HQ.
Gibson, who the industry-generated 247Sports Composite pegs as the nation's No. 26 wide receiver, picked the Gators over Georgia, South Carolina, Miami, Baylor, Tennessee, FSU and Auburn. He joins a UF 2022 recruiting class that already includes two of the nation's fastest wide receiver prospects in Chandler Smith (10.28 in the 100-meter dash) and Isaiah Bond (10.51 in the 100-meter dash).

Not a big surprise but big time get nonetheless. Man, if they can land Stewart the offensive firepower will be crazy for years to come.

Good pickup. Definitely liked his film, but never got my hopes up. Pretty sure he was a double UF legacy, right?

No idea fib, I got a message from CBS sports on my cell phone and that's the first I ever heard of this guy. I don't follow recruiting like I used to. The mind of a teenager and stuff.

Great pickup. I think we wanted him a lot but couldn't really get any traction. He's a good one, though.
