4* Warren Brinson says he is down to UGA and UF

Brinson is a former UGA commit. In no way am I certain, but from what I have seen on other forums, UGA told him to look elsewhere which lead to him decommiting from UGA. Now he feels slighted by UGA and UF coaches have asked him to drop a top 2 of UGA and UF. That way it appears Florida beat UGA head to head for Brinson when in reality he did not have a commitable offer at UGA.

And yeah, he does not have a commitable offer from UGA currently... I can't say one way or the other if UF asked him to, but certainly strange to put us in his top 2 when he doesn't have the option of selecting us...

We were mentioned for Roy and Wright too. I think we’re pushing harder for Brinson and Tim Smith at DT.

Ahh understandable
I think it's gonna be between Florida and LSU for Wright, good chance we miss out on him.
But checking Georgia's recruiting class, it seems like they already have three 4* DTs committed. Idk how many they would realistically take.

You talking to LSU guy or us? Replied to LSU poster but Rusty obviously focuses on UGA primarily.
On DL for us, he's still not a take.
Recently, a recruit was quoted saying we're only taking 4 on the DL... I have a feeling that was on the interior DL only, but even as is, we're at 3 commits there:
Carter, Stackhouse, Burroughs
Our 4th target there is Jacolbe Cowan.
ETA: Hadn't seen Rusty's comments, but would argue he's incorrect here with his info unless the plan is to bump one of the other 2 longer commits if Cowan selected us (or if they are feeling WAY less confident about Cowan)... There just isn't a lot of space in the DT class and Brinson is lower on the board.

I don't see room for brinson.
As for UF, it is never a bad thing to have a solid relationship with IMG. This could be good for them.

A 4 star is a 4 star, would be a good get for any school. 247 says he only has 8 offers though which is weird, but they are all pretty big schools. (Bama, Georgia, Clemson, Oklahoma, Florida)

Disagree about the 4star is a 4star.
I will gladly trade you a 247 composite at .8900 for a 247 composite at .9800.
In my head, .9400+ is a high 4 star. Closer to a 5 than a 3.

Florida might sign our whole plan B DL, who are all good prospects.
