Alabama added a big-time piece to its defensive line on Monday morning in Tyler (Texas) Tyler Legacy product Jordan Renaud. The Top100 prospect chose the Crimson Tide over Oklahoma, along with a lengthy list of others, in what’s another significant recruiting win in Texas.

247 and on3 both have him listed at 245. Obviously measurements could be from months ago and he might be up to 270 by now but is he being recruited as an edge or expected to get that weight up and move inside?

Has a big frame. Will be a DE. His coach said he lost down to about 245 this year (from around 260 last year), so he probably won't be ready to play next year. Bama is extremely high on him, though.
