4* Safety Travaris Banks committed to Ole Miss. Was long expected a State lean and took an OV to Tennessee last weekend.

From Tuscaloosa, Alabama and plays at Hillcrest.

NIL

Wasn’t going to qualify

No room for him on the roster but wish him the best.

….just going ahead and getting those out of the way.

Nasty move, but we'll see how it works out. At least it will piss off Arnett.

Before he committed anywhere I was wondering why Bama didn't want him if he's all that??

Tennessee not hurting. They already have 4 DB’s this cycle already and he is rated below all them. He wasn’t going to play if he came to UT, him being from Tuscaloosa and not picking Bama or Auburn should tell you all you need to know about this kid. If he was that good he would be staying home. But it’s obvious he don’t want to sit behind better players for awhile.

Common brother just say congrats to Ole Miss and move on. His recruitment was always strange to me, he went to Knoxville a bunch but recruiting insiders never talked about this kid. He probably got more love at Ole Miss and committed. Tennessee wouldn’t waste an official on him if they felt he wasn’t a good player. But also seems like they never really put the full court press on.

Who knows, each teams recruiting boards are so fluid. Sometimes what seems like a big target in March turns out to be an afterthought player months later

Nope, I am in the camp we still want him and I hope he changes his mind. I believe State is still recruiting him.

He is a 4 star so He ain't chopped liver. I am sure we both would be glad to get him.

I thought he was solidly in State's class. Recruiting has gotten crazier these days but then again, it was always nuts.
