Final Four:
Oklahoma
Georgia
Clemson
Texas A&M
Expected to A&M but nothing surprises me in recruiting. Clemson is up there too.

I'm actually really excited about signing day this year.
Didn't think we'd be in the run for so much for 2018 and what's nuts is 2019 will eclipse this class by far.

How is that nuts? Your 2018 class is well below par.

We wont finish outside of the top 20 for 2018.

It’ll end up ranked 14-18. Not bad for a transition year.
Obviously 2019 has the potential for a top 5 year.
No idea about the nuts.

Final 3... can take us out. Pretty confident he doesn't have a spot in UGA's class... would love to have him, but just not enough room for a pure safety IMO.

It's honestly a Clemson vs A&M battle with A&M the heavy heavy favorite.
OU hasn't been in it for months.

I agree, but he named those 4 as the schools he will be selecting from.

Just glanced at land thieves. They have convinced themselves that O'Neal didn't have a committable offer from Clemson, OU, or Georgia and thats the only reason he'll go to A&M.

Sure... but there are plenty of kids who give a final 3, 4, or 5 but don't have committable offers from those final schools. Was just letting you know I'm 99.999% confident he doesn't have a spot in this class at UGA. Most years, would be glad to have him, just took a lot of DBs with safety potential last year, and limited spots for a pure safety this year. I can really only speculate, but I guess we continued to recruit him as backup option and also to make the other schools work harder to keep him.
Good luck! Would rather see him at A&M than Clemson.

He’s a top 100 player. You take each and every one of those you can. Regardless of need. Unless it’s your 12th receiver because they seem to be overrated imo based on stars.

Ok... sure.
I'm not knocking his skill set. In almost any other year for us, he's an immediate take... you could maybe argue that he *should* be a take over Davis or Walthour, but with the relative lack of quality DL talent, the position is commanding premium spots for less than elite rated players. Thus the huge push from UGA and USC for Sandidge... there aren't enough high caliber DL... as a result that's 2-3 spots of our remaining 5 slots.
O'Neal would not be getting a spot over Campbell. Wouldn't get one over Walker (don't think we land him, but we're fighting for it). *Maybe* could argue that he should get the spot over Reese, but Reese is a more flexible defender. So at best, he'd edge out Bush of guys that we're considered strongly in the mix for. I take a 6'5" WR with Bush's speed and ball skills over a talented safety in *our* case, because of the talent on the roster right now... but it's definitely closer.
You can argue chicken/egg... as I don't think we were a high choice for him either, but it just is what it is. 247 ratings don't determine where a player is on a school's board...

Great reply versus typical dipshit answers.

Yeah, the last thing I'm trying to indicate is that he somehow "isn't good" or any of that nonsense. As I said, I hope he ends up at A&M over any of the other options... I think he'll be a good fit there and Jimbo knows how to use a safety with his skillset.

O'Neal announcing at 3:00pm.

UGA has bigger fish to fry. O'Neal will decide between Clemson and A&M. I'm expecting A&M because he was there this weekend, unofficially to help lock in some of the 2018 class.
