So is Bama which is why it’s a big deal to get another one. They signed three RB today.

You don’t need a great player that can help win games. Got it. Moron.
I’m sure the scholarship going to some low 3 star scrub at a “position of need” that transfers in 2 years is better than someone like Mclellan though, just because you have a stacked rb room

What do you think Alabama’s RB room looks like?
Like Trey Sanders and not much else if Najee leaves, hence why you had to take three RBs in this class.

You don't "Got" anything. You have no idea what you're talking about. RB is anything BUT "a position of need" at OU.

Brian Robinson, Jerome Ford, and Keiland Robinson will all be back.

I like how y'all don't mention Keilan Robinson. That young man gon bust some cheeks next season!

You have lost your mind. Brian Robinson, Trey Sanders and K. Robinson are all great backs.

OU just tried to take two

Then why would your coaches feel the need to take 3 more RBs in a single class? Those two things don't jive together. Seems like a waste of schollies if you already have "three great backs".

We were expecting to lose two RBs after the season. Now we're not. Get it?

McClellan is a 4* RB, just like everybody else in our RB room. He's really good, but he's not some "generational talent" like you're implying that he is. We have 5 guys in our RB room that could tote the rock for pretty much anybody.

We play in the SEC. RB depth is a necessity where we play.

Biggest horseshite answer ever.

You're a balanced team that throws the ball all over the yard. You don't line up and pound the ball out of the I formation anymore. And your coaches aren't dumb enough to overload your RB room with guys that will hit the portal when they don't play their Fr. year.

Alabama took three because guys are going to get injured, transfer, leave early, etc. You can never have enough good RBs.
Alabama took four RBs in the 2013 class. That included Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara, among others.

Not one poster implied he was a generational talent. Your stretching because in truth you’re aggravated a kid committed for so long flipped which is cool I get it but if he wasn’t needed your coach’s wouldn’t have offered and accepted his commitment don’t be that guy. You know didn’t want him, don’t need him, grade risk, bad character.

They’ve just got such a stacked running back room though. Who needs more playmakers? That scholarship is now free to sign some scrub!

Finally! Somebody posting common sense.
Nick Saban is not a dumb man.
either:
A) He does not feel as comfortable with the quality and depth of the current talent in his RB room as some of you here do.
or:
B) He is expecting more attrition in his RB group, forced or unforced, than you the fans are, for whatever reason.
There's no way all three of your RBs in this class will stick around if your current RB room is truly loaded and waste their time riding the pine. They have a short shelf life and have to leave for the NFL early. You all know that. I'm not talking crazy-talk here.

And if yours is as stacked as you say why are so many guys still riding the pine?
