Most of the people who will be there have known him since birth and are going to be happy for him and celebrate no matter who he chooses -- it's not like they're gonna be all pissed off and bitter if he doesn't pick LSU. That's not how it is out here

Most people generally handle these things fairly well in person. Rahsaan Evans announced he was going to Alabama while he was sitting in the Auburn High School gym. He still managed to make it out alive.
