This after a few months of reports that Miami had a 10$ Million NIL deal set for Rashada.

Big get for Florida

It was strange that Miami had two quarterbacks committed. Big get for Florida but not a surprise that Rashada flipped.

I don’t even want to root for this kid now. Nothing against him I just don’t like all this money being thrown at kids. Where does it end?

And what about the QB we took from Penn State when we missed on this guy? Imagine how he feels.

I don’t know if I am really going to be that interested in college athletics going forward. Nothing against the athletes for getting what they can. Not really interested in professional team sports.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if the other guy Williams had flipped, this is a surprise. If the two QBs in one class thing were the reason, it probably would’ve been the kid ranked in the 600s leaving not the top 50 guy

i'm not so sure it's money this time. he saw the writing on the wall at Miami after getting skull drug by FSU. Miami hasn't scored a TD in over 2 games.

Maybe ask for a transfer to China where they don't pay college players there.

Great pickup for Florida. My guess is most reported NIL deals are inaccurate as they are reported.

I get it, and I agree to a point. But, if it were us we would go fr the money, too. It's hard to blame them.

Probably not good, and you might lose him as a result, but your team has to go get the bets players they can get. The true test will be how the kids handle the money. Do they relax and not work as hard, or do they work harder to get the even bigger pay day down the road.

Well we were certainly sure it was money that led him to Miami in the first place, so now we are saying that his love of Florida is why he chose the Gators?

That is a little rich for me. Pardon the pun. I try not to be that big of a homer to think someone is going to turn down millions after we have accused them of being all about money.

I don't know I could be wrong, but I strongly doubt it. Rich boosters like swinging big sticks. Where does it end? Silicon Valley can get some damn 5 stars if they feel like it.

Hopefully won't hurt us for DJ Lagway next year.

It will almost certainly hurt our efforts to get Lagway.

Hope we have enough NIL money around to get some more pick ups this year, otherwise save them for next year.

I mean it might hurt if he wants to start as a true freshman or something but it could also help. Stars choose mostly the same schools every year for a reason, even at QB. It’s not like the guys in front of him at Clemson, USC or A&M are gonna be chopped liver either
