Better than playing for Mullen

Probably a better fit at UGA and an easier path to starting early at UGA.

Still he was our top qb target. I trust Mullen to handle our QB situation. Anthony Richardson will likely get back into the fold now. I doubt Florida concedes on Beck too. Decommitted from Bama because of Florida. Let the high of the visit wear off and we’ll see if he ends up making the short drive to Gainesville.

Uga was always his favorite. We just forgot to offer him.

He was a Florida baseball commit (when Mac was at UF).

Flipped to Bama for football. Then decommitted from Bama when Mullen showed interest. He was always a big Gator fan. They were seen as the favorites. He was expected to commit to Florida when he visited on 3/12.

Georgia beat us to the punch. Still don’t think it’s 100% over, because I think he reacted to the visit high and shut it down quick. We’ll see if he takes any visits down to Gainesville. Will always be only an hour away.

He was a “Florida fan” only because uga had not offered. He is a better fit for the uga offense, depth chart is better for him, and he will have a better supporting cast at uga, so it was both a head and heart decision.

UF fans are already talking Franks up for the Heisman behind that nickle and dime O-line and Beck was not needed, it's simply beautiful.

Maybe on the 247 threads, but I haven’t seen anything like that.

Don’t think you understand how fandom works. But it doesn’t really matter now. I agree that he’s a better fit at UGA and UGA’s quarterback room needed him more than florida’s needed him. He may have sat for 2-3 years before he saw the field at UF. I think Florida and Georgia both have legit offensive weapons around the quarterback to make his job easier. Georgia has the edge in OL play this year as Florida is so young. We’ll see how those guys develop into next year.

I think it’s clear, as a quarterback, he would’ve received better coaching at Florida. We’ll see if it’s completely over these next couple of months. Georgia has a good one committed right now though

heard this last year..

Franks 4 star QB coming off his best season
Emory Jones 4 star QB RS So
Jalon Jones 4 star QB Fr
Both Jones boys are better system fits.

You got a good one today, be happy, but dont let it make you go full retard.

Uhh... what? Franks was serviceable last year and put up 31 TD and 6 interceptions. He should only be getting better. Hence, Florida fans are excited about him.

Georgia fans still don’t know anything about our young, but talented OL. Oh well.

Very current statement from the UF board, keep believing.

What’s funny about it? There’s not a rational human being in America that knows anything about college football that would take Georgia’s OC/QB coach over Mullen. Not one.

Did that poster not use their tongue in cheek font? Clearly a bit of sarcasm. Lighten up, Francis

So coaching a prostyle qb into a dual threat offense is always better? It is always that clear?

Two, because they each got beat out by a third top qb.

It’s hilarious that people think those transfers hurt Georgia’s pitch to QBs.

Not one starting QB has ran, but 2 guys left because of him. That shows just how good of a job they have done with Fromm.

Alex Smith and Dak Prescott say hello. Especially Alex Smith. And Feleipe Franks is a pro style guy that Mullen molded 30+ touchdowns out of. He got more than 3x as many touchdowns out of Feleipe in one year in his system.

So yeah, it’s a clear choice.
