Kid said he was a uga fan growing up. Kid couldn’t commit to uga earlier because we didn’t offer earlier, so then another became his “favorite”.

I’d rather have Dan Mullen coach my QBs. I’d rather have Kirby coach my defense, and my team in general, but I think it’s ok to say Mullen has historically been great with quarterbacks.

Mullen with QBs isn’t even debatable.

And I agree, of course. Kirby would be an upgrade for our defense/recruiting, but Mullen is better for offense/gameday, in my opinion.

That dynamic where both coaches strengths are different is what is going to make the game so interesting in the future.

Alex Smith and Dak Prescott say hello. Especially Alex Smith. And Feleipe Franks is a pro style guy that Mullen molded 30+ touchdowns out of. He got more than 3x as many touchdowns out of Feleipe in one year in his system.

So yeah, it’s a clear choice.

It is clear that you don't know the difference in a pro style versus a dual threat. Beck is a pro-style. Alex smith and dak prescott say that you are clueless.

Feliepe Franks is a high 4 star upper-classman. You seem shocked that a guy with NFL talent can throw the football. What does that say about Florida the past decade?

If we wanted to be good a dual threat spread schemes, then I would agree with you.

He has a better than decent track record. The regression of Dak Prescott may be a reason why he wanted out of miss st.

Franks got so much better under Mullen. He still isn’t good IMO, but he was wayyyyy different this past season.

You just may not have noticed it because he had a very poor game against us.

Georgia and Missouri were his rock bottoms of 2018, but they were still better than ANYTHING he did in 2017. Says a lot about his growth.

He made bad plays and missed guys every now and then, but his growth and production was undeniable and should be fully attributed to Mullen.

You know Beck is an athlete, right?

He’s not a statue. He plays baseball and was good enough to get a scholarship to UF in baseball. He’s listed as pro style because he’s white and has a cannon. Y’all got a good one.

Based on what, the last two times Smart kicked Mullen's arse? Mullen is a nitwit.

30 touchdowns from Franks... a lot of that is running Frank's in the red zone because you couldn't get offense otherwise. You have the 5th best pro qb in the nation from the 2016 class throwing 24 TDs 3 seasons into his college career. Not bad... but don't pretend that you are getting everything out of Franks (yet). The guy will get a crack in the NFL on talent alone.

The visit was unreal,” Beck told 247Sports. “Georgia was my dream school since middle school when it came to football. Going into the whole recruiting process Georgia was at the No. 1 spot and this was before I received any offers.

If this is your criteria, then Smart got his arse straight whipped by a shrimp boat Captain so...

That's funny, too.

You do know what an athlete in college football recruiting means, right?

Every high school qb by definition is an athlete. Hell... Aaron Murray was an "athlete". Don't confuse athletic with dual threat qb for a p5 school.

A nitwit that finished ranked higher in year 1 (with a team coming off a 4 win season) than Kirby finished in year 3

Being a 3rd year upperclassmen never has anything to do with development, either.

There never is a reason why we use the words upperclassmen and underclassmen. Those words are meaningless.

A highly flawed poll is nothing to brag about.

That’s my point.

Franks first season starting under Mac he threw 9 TD and 8 INT with no rushing TD.

His first season under Mullen he threw 24 TD, 6 INT, and ran for 7 TD.

It doesn’t matter the skill set, Mullen can work with any type of quarterback and make him productive. Before this year, no one would’ve thought Franks was a dynamic runner in any sense of the word.

I think Franks will be a top QB in the draft next year. He’ll be the Josh Allen of the class, even though he probably has no business being drafted that high. You can’t teach a cannon or 6’6 240

Nothing flawed about the fact that Florida was playing better ball than Georgia at the end of last year. One team won their NY6 bowl, the other did not. One team finished on a 4 game winning streak, the other on a two game losing streak.
