How good is this receiver? It seems he had the one big game against Utah and not much else. Was he stuck behind some really good ones?

Ton of ability, but not much production so far.

Keep the USC & Oregon WR transfer pipeline coming.

Hopefully a Bru McCoy 2.0

One could have said that about Javonta Payton and Bru McCoy before they got into this system. This staff has hit before on these transfer WRs, I'm sure this guy will make some plays.

He will eat at Tennessee. He’s a vertical threat and wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a legit 4.4 guy at 6’5”.

Then he is a match made in heaven for Joe Milton. If he really is that fast that would give us two absolute speedsters on the field at the same time. Bru is more of a tank but Squirrel White is a smaller 4.3/4.4 guy.

Cedric Tillman, Hyatt, Bru McCoy didn’t have big numbers till Heupel came along.
Stats before Huepel
Tillman- 2018-2020
8rec 124 yards 2 TD

Hyatt- 2020
20rec 276 yards 2TD

McCoy- 2020
21rec 236 yards 0TD’s

Stats under Heupel
Tillman- 2021-2022
101rec 1,498 yards 15TD’s

Hyatt- 2021-2022
88rec 1,493 yards 17TD’s

McCoy- 2022
52rec 667 yards 4 TD’s

Thornton will explode in this offense like everyone else has that’s come on board under Heupel. Milton showed against Clemson he’s more than capable. People forget Milton was the starter till he got hurt and Hooker took over and never looked backed. Expect UT to have the top offense again next year.

Oregon’s speed coach said he hit 22.91 mph in the summer. Kid just needs to be less boom or bust and he will be great. I always liked him as a person so hope he does well there.
