Congrats Bama. He's a good one. Our fanbase is nauseating.
We all have our pricks.

Hell yes. He's a fricking beast.
He is way better than Moses. Allen is a great player. Sucks to lose him

Allen was one of my favorite recruits in the class. I'm pissed we're not getting him.
Good pick up for Bama. This is in the wheelhouse of what you guys do from a recruiting standpoint. Of course you're loading up on the best guys from around the southeast primarily (and the rest of the country, but that doesn't speak to my point).
LSU needs linebackers, Baton Rouge has a big time linebacker. He goes to Bama. It a) hurts LSU by not getting a top tier player at a position of need, b) helps Bama obviously with adding more talent, c) hurts from a perception standpoint in furthering the gap between the two programs.
It's a multi level effect and I'd be very surprised if that wasn't part of the strategy. Not the main focus, the focus is on the talent. But part of the decision making is not only how it improves my team, but how does it hurt the teams I compete against.

I think they had to choose between Allen and Browning, tbh. Allen is the better bet because Browning has had knee problems in high school.

What kind of knee problems?

Why do so many Baton Rouge players want to leave?

We're talking comparing this to a place in Alabama, right?

I'm assuming he is referring to the crime in Baton Rouge. And, uh, he's not wrong in that regard.
