Wouldn't trade Elko for anyone.

Elko has to be the hottest recruiter of all right now.
Amazing what happens when your players truly love their coaches. And winning helps too!

I also think that he'll be able to filter out some of the trash that just happen to have a lot of stars. We saw what happened with some of the cancers that Jimbo brought in chasing a recruiting ranking.

I don't know which ones you mean. The 5-stars that left seem to have done well at their new landing spots. Stewart at Oregon is their top receiver at a team ranked #1. Walter Nolen, LT Overton both seem to be starters at Ole Miss and Bama respectively and done as good a job there. Haven't followed Jardin Gilbert, Fadil Diggs, Jake Johnson, Deuce Harmon...all 4 star players and I assume starters at their new homes.
Some were definitely busts such as Tony Grimes, Bryce Foster (made of glass).
Denver Harris and Chris Marshall are probably the two bad apples that come to mind...I had to look up the names.

Those are two shitbirds I was referring to. Both 5-stars. Both flamed out because they couldn't act right. I think some of the others might have just been chasing bags.
