Good get, not elite but a good player, I imagine it would get interesting if LSU gave him the commitable offer. They are the only threat to steal him I believe. Getting a little better need a couple more before the season.

Agreed, but I don’t think this will be an issue barring some unforeseen circumstances. He’s going to be a really good player.

From what our guys said he isn't interested because we have so many on board. I don't think losing 1 would make any difference, maybe 2 though. 5 currently committed

Gotcha that’s interesting I figured him being from New Orleans he didn’t have the green light. I don’t blame Orgeron for taking 5 so early you guys need depth bad and as long as they are good players so be it. Hope Chester sticks he looks pretty good.

He def doesn't have green light at the moment, we loaded up quick at DB, not really recruiting anyone there at the moment. Things can always change though

Congrats he is a very good player who had a strong showing at all the camps he attended. Our numbers are so tight

I hope you’re right I thought USCe was in better shape for Hill, hopefully that has changed. Any idea why Bush’s ranking fell so much on 24/7? His film is pretty good. Doesn’t make much since.

He fell out of favor in camps.
I know when he came to our camp, right after that our mods were saying he dropped way down our board. Put Kimbrough above him, despite Kimbrough's weaknesses of speed and size, they feel he was a better cover corner over Bush. Bush got dropped to a 3-star on 247. Coaches on our end had a great look at things at that camp. That's when Kimbrough got an offer but our CB board just filled up really quickly:
Banks - 6/10/18
Stingley - 6/20/18
Miller - 6/23/18
Flott - 6/24/18
That's 4 CB/DB commits in 2 weeks. KJimbrough got offered on 6/22...so Miller and Flott committed with in 2 days of his offer. It was a really really short window.

Good info, must have been a pretty bad showing.seems like an extra strong year for Louisiana talent this year.

Bush was just overrated, he's not bad by any means, they liked him a lot early on for his size (6'0 190ish, by comparison Kimbrough is like 5'10.5 170), but he just didnt perform as well as they wanted him to. So many coaches obsess over tall athletic guys in their secondary now, the shorter guys get the well, short end of the stick by default. Kimbrough also isn't much of a runner, but he's physical enough at the point of attack to make up for that. Speed guys will probably always give him issues though unless he bulks up and punches them hard at the LOS. Definitely not a guy I would want in zone and let a speedster run by.
Amik Robertson was a guy every poster on LSU's side wanted so bad i nthe 2017 class, but he was just under 5'9, also had some academic questions but a big time player. He ended up at LA TECH and was practically freshman all american level last season. Huge miss there.
And it's a solid year for LA for sure. Next year there are like 7 4-star WRs in the state

I think they're probably looking at Kimbrough for nickel, with Trey Dean and, Lord willing, Kair Elam outside. Everyone said Dean was too big and herky-jerky for CB, but he's been #3 on campus since last spring. I think he'll be a good one.
Our safety depth is awful, and we just lost Lenton (again) for the year. We have to get 3 good ones next year. Backing up the fricking Brinks truck for Cross or Battle this year would also help.
