HUDL

quote:

Stock up on Plano (Texas) John Paul cornerback Terrance Brooks, who in this setting showed why he is one of the more coveted players at the position in the country. He took on some of the best receivers in attendance, Evan Stewart, Talyn Shettron, Johntay Cook and Cordale Russell to name a few and did his thing, a physical yet twitchy player with change of direction ability and length. He looked like one of the best man to man cover guys in America in this setting.

“I think I came out there and dominated and performed like I should and expected,” Brooks said. “It was really good to have competition out there, I was just better.”

Brooks performance saw him earn an invite to the Under Armour All American Bowl. He has over 30 offers

"It has been (Oklahoma), Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, Auburn, Michigan, Penn State, TCU, and Nebraska," Brooks said of the schools making the biggest early impression.

"I have been more familiar with Texas A&M, Texas, Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and Oregon."

The legacy play doesn't mean anything if he has Texas listed in his group

He's going to narrow his top schools in the next few weeks. Plans on committing mid to late summer.

Good relationship with Coach Rushing.

Besides A&M other schools that have been recruiting him hard.

We aren't really recruiting him so I don't have much an opinion but id assume some of our woodland guys have seen him play if they come into this thread they can probably answer

His Dad Chet literally coined the term "Wrecking Crew" for the Aggie Defenses of the 80's and early 90's. Dad loved to brag that he never got beat for a TD in his career as a CB.

Wouldn't it be poetic karma to actually revive the "wrecking crew" moniker by landing the Legacy of the man who coined it?

Then again, Kyler…
