I hope so. Looks like we are going to try to use him in all 3 facets of the game.

It's starting to look like this kid could end up with LSU after all.

So is LSU willing to overlook his "handler" and "negative recruiting against LSU", or are LSU fans going to have to admit they were wrong about those things?

They will until Sunday when he leans back to OM after his visit.

So if LSU accepts him that means he never recruited against LSU or had a handler?

Kids recruit for teams and sign elsewhere all the time.

Well, according to a lot of LSU fans, his "handler" is crooked and there has been cash involved. So, yeah, if LSU accepts him then it means either A) the fans are wrong (which is nothing new), B), LSU compliance doesn't know what lsu fans know and are walking into a trap with a kid who will be ineligible, or C) LSU fans are right, their staff knows it and doesn't care b/c they aren't as clean as LSU fans want to pretend.

Most likely scenario is that LSU fans don't know what they are talking about and instinctively went to one of their usual excuses when an in-state talent commits elsewhere.

Ed Orgeron is the lead recruiter for Carter. Ed has come out and said he finds the person who is most influential with the kid. I'm sure he's sat down with Mr. Vincent Sanders.

Pretty wierd recruitment for sure. We have felt good about for a long time, as has Bama. I didn't think lsu was gonna be an issue with him, but it is his home state

Honestly, our fans thought the ship sailed by both parties. I think Ed Orgeron and Austin Thomas have been quietly working behind the scenes. I don't know if anything will change, but it's refreshing to know the staff is not giving up hope.
