4* CB Nadab Joseph Commits to Alabama

Alabama fans received welcome news on Tuesday night as four-star cornerback Nadab Joseph committed the Crimson Tide after an in-home visit from Nick Saban and Joe Pannunzio, BamaOnLine has learned.
Joseph is the Tide’s twelfth commitment in the 2018 class, which bumps the program to No. 11 in the 247Sports Team Rankings after residing outside the top 20 following offensive lineman Jarrett Bell exiting the class last month.
The Miami (Fla.) Norland product, a former LSU commit, chose the Tide over the Bayou Bengals and Georgia, among others.
“Playing time, championships, and the family feel,” Joseph cited as his reasons he likes Alabama in the past. “That championship mindset they have around there and just knowing how I would be challenged every day in practice.
“Coach (Nick) Saban said he's coached in the NFL for a while and I have some of those qualities, and he can help me get there. They basically let me know I'm the guy they want.”

There was a time when Georgia and Alabama were each ranked in the 60s for this class. I felt confident then that we would each finish top 5 at a minimum. No reason to doubt it.

Our staff has done work with the extra week of recruiting. Losing to Auburn, gaining an extra week of recruiting, and still making the playoffs might have been the shot in the arm this class needed

People keep asking what's wrong with Alabama recruiting but they are on course for a top 3-5 class.
They literally only have 12 recruits. But 10 out of the 12 are 4 stars...83% of the class is 4 star. That's insane.
The only reason other schools are ahead is because the have more recruits...15, 20, 25.
Going by average star ranking, Alabama is ranked 3rd.

Yep. Jobe to pop soon. Brenton Cox expected to decommit from OSU soon. Anoma on deck. Penei Sewell also possible soon, depending on the Cristobal/Oregon situation.
As for DB's, hopefully we can get the momentum back with Tyson Campbell that we had a month or two ago.
