He had what he described as an "amazing" official visit last weekend, and everything from the coaching staff to the players to the overall environment of College Station impressed him.
Manning, a Missouri Class 5 second-team all-state selection as a junior at Raytown High School, visited Texas A&M as an Oklahoma commit. He's been committed to the Sooners since April 14. But Texas A&M hoped it did enough to sway the national top-50 player, and Saturday morning, Manning announced that he has parted ways with Oklahoma in an effort to reopen his process.

Washington was never pursued by us so that's moot. Stripling lost his spot to Derick Hunter for waiting too long to decide. Again neither were commits.

He was indeed committed to RBU at one point with a shot to play in Lincoln Riley's offense and be guaranteed an NFL draft pick. Called him home to what? Sounds like a terrible decision.
