Nice pick-up.
How many ball carriers did y'all sign today? Four?

Not sure it's a flip when we didn't even send him an LOI. But still, nice pick up. He'll make a solid LB.

Well he was committed as of yeatsefday? A few days ago?
Just because ole Saban got wind of the impending switch and yanked the offer doesn’t mean it’s not a flip in my book.
It’s like when your boss says “You’re fi...” but you jump in a yell “I quit” before he finishes.

Why yes we did take 4. Good thing one looks like a FB and another is a potential LB.

I wasn't knocking it, just kind of amazed.

On second thought. With him questioning where to go at the 11th hour & worries about his many backs being inked at A&M, I wonder if he would have signed his Bama LOI if he had one. Guess ole Nicky will never know.

I think Bama moved on from Jackson some time ago. Why Jackson remained "committed" I'm not sure, but both parties seemed to part ways some time ago and seemed very much mutual. Not a knock on the kid, I wanted him as a LB. He'd never crack our 3 deep at RB which may have been the rift that separated the two parties. Some kids just want to play offense, and we were honest with him that that was't going to happen at Bama. Such is life...maybe we should have lied to him.

Y’all wanted Vernon ... don’t play that passive aggressive “we didn’t send LOI” card
He gave you a head’s up that he was flipping and ... business is business

I think you guys were recruiting him as a LB/DE. I am surprised at the number of RBs, but we needed to upgrade that position.

I posted in the other thread yesterday that Alabama would not send a LOI.

Correct, Jackson decommitted after news broke that Bama wasn't sending him an LOI. Not sour grapes, just facts. Like I said good player, and I wanted him as a LB but he apparently wants a shot at RB and TAMU is gonna give him the chance. Good for him.

Jackson never sent in his LOI. Apparently still talking to Texas and TCU.

It will take time forJimbo to get his program going. We now have a coach that has the balls to confront Saban.

Why hasn’t Vernon Jackson sent his LOI in yet?
