And good pick up on Crouch. In my opinion he's going to be what James Wilder Jr should have been at Florida State. Play linebacker, get coached up and get the frick after guys.

My god what a goon. I hope to see this young man riding around Knoxville in an orange Trans Am Eric Dickerson style

Oh, did I mention that Michigan and Clemson both will be getting an NCAA violation for "accidentally" tweeting false Crouch signing art.

Did they really? Holy shite. Proot is becoming my favorite SEC coach

Each school posted a graphic that Crouch signed with them?

Nope, they both did it before he committed.

They received his financial aid papers, as did we, and then tweeted that he had signed with them.

Really wanted Crouch, but I personally soured on him when he sat out his SR year due to a minor injury.

Also, I think his highest upside is as a rb, but he wants to play qb, haven't seen enough film on him there to warrant his ranking.

With that said kid is a stud and congrats UT. Hell of a pull he is a stud athlete.

This was a the best get for UT in years - years.

I've been following this kid, and for life I can't figure out why he wasn't a composite 5*? He is monstrous and he's smart - maybe the best player in the country. Was it just the injury?

Balance, quickness, strength, explosiveness, aggression, and a real nose for the ball. He was already 240 lbs in his Junior year, and with the way he reportedly works out he'll be a 260 pound outside linebacker running 4.6 or better, bench-pressing linemen and spreading QBs on the ground like mayonaise.

My money says he's the best player on the Vols team by end of season if he plays LB, and he walks on campus as the best player if he plays RB.

Clemson lost out big here. (and Michigan, but who cares)

That's a stupid reason to sour on a recruit. There's nothing to be gained at the high school level if he's already a blue chip. I understand both sides of the coin -- players who continue to play to keep on their toes, and players who want to avoid injuries before going to college where their stock actually matters.

Tennessee moving them bags, finally.

Many people disagree

but he wants to play qb,

WUT? Have literally never heard anything like that.

Alright, let's get really fricking real here. JC Schurbert has gotten you Gamepenises all riled up about Crouch, so many of you were bashing him on social media, calling him a bust and overrated, questioning his toughness and character, calling him stupid and manipulated.

But HERE'S THE GODDAMN TRUTH, you don't believe any of that shite, you just want to avoid the motherfrickin reality that Crouch was NEVER EVEN REMOTELY frickING INTERESTED IN YOU.

Phone autocorrected LB to QB, my bad. And I've known and accepted he was never coming here back in the spring.

This has been an awesome signing period so far and I think Tennessee will have a Top 10 recruiting class when all is said and done on February

Not that we’re poor, just that we’re still paying interest on Clowney

We've had better overall class rankings but so far this is the best class star and ranking wise (player average) we've had since 09.

I’ve noticed this as well. I hope it translates to the field.

I know Butch had his issues but he did recruit well to Tennessee. I expected Pruitt to have recruiting success to Tennessee. I never believed the hype that Tennessee is a bad job. Rather, Tennessee made a string of bad hires that made the job look bad.
