Not highly rated and hasn’t played a ton of football, but he’s 6’5” and runs a 10.8 100.
He also played some corner and is a basketball player. I’ve said it because and I’ll say it again. I love my WR/TEs that know how to box out. It helps with their contested ball skills.

Monster upside on the kid. Dad and Uncle played at Nebraska in the Big 8 Days and also in the League. Last year was his first at WR and he tore it up. At 6'5 with his speed, leaping ability, and overall athleticism I am really pumped about this one.

Think he plays basketball like Evans did as well. I don't know, but also questioned the Anias Smith offer so have to trust the evaluations that Fisher and his staff have made.

Speedy, but needs to gain at least 25 lbs.

That’s a skinny six five but you can’t teach speed great pick up.

Not exactly a giant hill to climb for a guy that is 6'5 and a Junior in HS. He will get bigger. May even grow another inch or two. He's still got a basketball player build, hit the weight room hard for a year and he can get ripped. Want him to keep that speed and the leaping ability though, he's going to be on the outside most likely.

Good get. I dont understand how they rank these kids. Kid looks pretty damn good with lost of potential.

Looks like a 17 year old Mike Evans. Don't care if he redshirts a year like Evans.

I know it’s basically a tradition to call every tall receiver recruit “the next Mike Evans”, but that’s not the comparison I see at all. He reminds me of Josh Reynolds when I watch his highlights. We said the same thing about him being too skinny and all he did was have a 1000 yd receiving season without ever really gaining much weight.

Reynolds is still sub 200 in the NFL. He's also 2-3" shorter.

He is a 6'5 mega athlete that was a basketball player who is relatively new to playing football and only played WR for 1 year. That's why he is like Evans who was a 2/3 Star because he had a similar story.
Is Thomas going to be a Pro Bowl WR who is looking like he will end up in Canton? Tapping the brakes on that obviously but he does have a huge ceiling. The thing that truly separates Evans is he has the nasty streak and he loves going up for 50/50 balls along with his other talents. He also has huge hands. Not many humans that can do this:

Kid is a 4* on 247 as of this morning
