Big pickup for Arkansas. He's rated the composite #21 TE overall and the #11 TE on 247. Last year was his first year to play TE and the kid was explosive. I will be surprised if this kid isn't a 4* by signing day.
The obligatory he picked the Hogs over offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon, Ole Miss, Louisville and Miss State.

How does Arkansas feel about Gragg?

I've been saying this since last summer

I'm not trying to flame. I just don't get why Gragg is a 4 star player. He is the softest looking guy you could ever find. I am guessing the 4 star has to be based on potential.

If Gragg would come let Pittman make him an NFL tackle, would love for him to come.
At TE, it's getting pretty crowded with O'Grady and Cantrell already committed.

I thought that's what stars were was potential. Never really understood what stars actually meant, outside of 5 stars. I think Gragg is a 4* due to his versatility. I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about O'Grady.

Gragg ranking is based on how his brother blew up once in a college weight/coaching program. Big difference is Chris was a WR in HS who had speed and was able to keep it while bulking.

Gragg is a better blocker at this point in his career and O'Grady is the better route runner/receiver. O'Grady hasn't played much with his hand in the dirt at Fayettevie which was our staffs only concern.
Being completely honest, Gragg is probably a more natural fit for our offense and O'Grady is a more natural fit for Ole Miss. However, it looks like the opposite will happen.
O'Grady is going to give our staff some fun though because they will be able to get a lot more creative with how they deploy our TE's within formations.
This is the one player in the state, other than Jamario Bell, that I absolutely wanted to land so I'm beyond stoked today that he committed.

You can have him. Anyone can have him. I honestly think he'll be much much better with another school than Arkansas. He already thinks he owns the state and the university because he's been around the program thanks to his brother. He's already soft as it is and I don't see us getting much effort from him. Another program that would be new to him would get more work out of him IMO.
