Was pretty expected. Four star on some sites, but I use 24/7 so three star on there site.

Yep, he doesn't get that his future is at safety, kind of like tyreke Johnson out of Jacksonville, not corner material, either one

UGA did not really put any effort into either one because they both insist they are CBs and they just don't have that kind of athletic ability, both might be DaWGs if they were willing to play safety at the collegiate level

UF will take him. If he works out, great, if not he will be recruited over in the secondary relatively quickly. Dean has great length, so I’m happy with getting him.

I think he will be pushed to LB as well when he comes in. I'll happily take him though we need LB's badly and Mac only had one in the class before fired. Hoping we get Dean as one then get another before the end of the class. Really need depth there.

Needs to add 30 lbs at a minimum to play linebacker. Maybe it'll work out. I do know that Pruitt didn't want him when he was at Bama, and Dean decommitted from Tennessee within hours of Pruitt being named the HC.

Yes he does but we wouldn't need him this year. He is a redshirt and gain weight guy I'd think. I'm assuming he came because of Warren obviously. So he see's something in the guy. I won't complain. He isn't a two star wtf signing or anything.

There are way too many factors going into this year to actually make an educated guess about him.
We have just enough Safeties to shift Gardner back to Cornerback -- which we desperately need.
Who knows where these guys end up, if they take a RS, if they're LBers. Not mad, just saying that we're going to have a shite ton of jockeying for different positions this Summer because we already rotated players out of position.

Agree on Gardner. He was highly touted as a corner, and did well as a freshman..he was a terrible safety though. Just too small and isn't a run stopper..yet constantly used as the eighth man in the box.

Lol, he's a pretty high 3 star on 247, I'm not sure how the composite works though because he's a 4 star on the other sites.
