Their strategy is to take as many players that want to commit right now to boost their ratings and gain perception and then cut the guys they don’t want near signing day. Pretty terrible thing to do imo but that’s what the ole miss reporters have stated apparently.

As much as OM fans hate Matt Luke as a HC, he’s exactly the guy they need right now. I think he’s done an outstanding job at weathering the storm. Can’t ask for much more than that at this point in time.

When I was at Cal, we were goofing around one day and put 10 offensive linemen on the field to run some goal line power plays. (5 normal linemen, 2 TE's, 2 blocking backs, a 280 lb running back, and the regular QB.)
1) It looked funny as hell. 2) It was almost impossible to stop them. 3) We never did it in a game which I think was mostly due to jersey number issues.
Maybe Matt Luke has heard about our practices and wants to implement that offense.
