Every Bama fan that has posted in this thread has expressed remorse about Pineiro decommiting and praise for what a good kicker he is.
I hope he decides to recommit but I must also acknowledge that Bama has gotten very highly ranked kickers in the recent past, only to see them get crazy inconsistent and go cold at the worst times. Bobby Williams puts some kind of voo doo on kickers.
Florida is getting a good one if he decides to go there.

He has one of the better legs I've seen from a recruit. Wish we could've kept him committed, but wish him nothing but the best at Florida. Knew when Coach Mac was eating Cuban food with him that this was going to be a battle. Florida can offer something Bama can't with immediate playing time.

The only real problem was that Shelley just didn't have the range. He was really accurate but anything of distance brought out Cade Foster - who never made a kick that mattered.
Foster's problems got everyone so gun shy that when Griffith got hurt last year Bama fans became Chicken Little.

Meh the hair cut always looked ghey. Do I wish he were committed and we could give him a buzz cut? Yep. But we've won 3 national titles and have made it to 2 play offs without a kicker basically so I think we will be ok.
