Smoke is from the same town/HS as Kirby (Bainbridge). FSU is 25 minutes down the road (Bainbridge is literally on the GA/FL border).

Would assume bouie just came into town cause he likes Williams. Doubt there's any real shot there

Not sure either side should feel confident let alone overwhelmingly confident. Any particular reason why y’all feel that way?

We think we hit it out of the park this weekend and just feel really confident in our ability to recruit him going forward

On the contrary.....at one time there was definitely a lot of chatter about Texas A&M, and from what I understand, there was a certain amount of concern. Last I heard, though, a lot of that concern is gone and we are feeling confident. I never like to use absolutes when it comes to recruiting because things can change so quickly.
I wouldn't count A&M out right yet, but feel like we have regained a lot of momentum. Who knows, though? The A&M staff might feel the same.

I think he pulled the trigger too early and regretted it. The home run visit last weekend just made it clear.

It isn't a coincidence that Bear has been to A&M twice in the past few months in an unofficial manner. He was at the Spring game, and then this weekend sealed the deal on a de-commit. I don't think he commits right away
